More stories

As we sit and reminisce about our trip we remember more and more of those priceless moments as if we are there all over again. One that sticks in our heads is a story of Jonah and our stay at the house. Every morning that we were going to the Parks kids would wake to find a note written by one or several of the Disney characters and a small gift. Every night we came home they would find their animals(Disney) doing something different. Jonah could not figure out how all this was happening and would say "This is such a magic house and magic place! This is the bestest place ever!"

Priceless memories

We have been back a few days and the memories and priceless moments are still being talked about. One of my favorite moments is riding Dinosaur(which they tell you is scary, dark and fast moving and small children shouldn't ride) with Jonah. Everyone(workers and the two people who rode in our car with us) said he shouldn't ride as he would get scared. Well Jonah rode it and looks over at the Guy (probably early 20's) next to him and says" u are a wimp that was the bestest ride ever Awesome!!!" We proceed off the ride and he tells the worker that it was Awesome! She was shocked he rode it and wasn't scared at all! Another priceless moment was on the Monster Inc. Laugh floor when Mike Wasoski picked Brett out of the audience and used him as a part of his jokes as did all the other monsters throughout the show. Brett was known on the laugh floor as "That Guy". He became "that Guy" throughout out our entire trip and seeing the smiles and laughter from the kids over this was priceless. Watching Noah in Awe over the Star Wars weekend was priceless as you forgot he was a teenager and saw him as a little boy . Watching Miranda meet Tinkerbell even at 230am was a priceless moment. She was in such joy meeting her and watching her interact with Tinkerbell was so precious. A moment or maybe two that will not be forgotten by anyone is Arianna on Splash Mountain as she knew there was a drop at the end and she gets very nervous over big drops so she cried through the entire ride. Well our last day at Magic Kingdom she begged to ride it again and laughed through the entire ride and said it was the best ride. We made many new memories and grew closer as a family. This is a trip that will not be forgotten by anyone. Seeing the kids in such joy and such awe was the most precious and priceless memory Brett and I can take away from our trip. Once we get through all our pictures I will post more of them here. Plus kids are working on their top ten lists which I will post when they finish them!

More Disney World Pictures

Our journey today

The trip today has been a very interesting one to say the least. We left Ft. Campbell in heavy rain knowing the storms ahead of us were not good(tornadoes ). We drove out of it all finally only to drive right back into a direct path of another tornado. We also drove into several spots of heavy traffic that would make sudden stops and come to a complete stand still. All this became very wearing as we drove. We finally thought we were in the clear so we were going to stop and eat supper and stretch but found out another heavy storm filled with tornadoes, high winds and quarter inch hail was heading right to us. So we made the decision to make a quick potty break and do drive thru as u could see it heading right at us. We knew we didn't want to stick around there long. We have finally drove out of all the bad weather and heavy traffic. Kids have been great despite the interesting drive today. They are quietly all watching a movie(daddy daycare). Kids are tired, miss their dogs and are anxious to get home as are we.

More travels

After sitting in stand still traffic due to construction and the shutting of three lanes because of the construction at Nashville and coming upon a give car accident we stopped for the night just over the Tennessee/Kentucky border at Ft Campbell. We are on the road this morning driving in heavy rain with Tornados in our path ahead of us. Praying we won't have a lot of troubles.

Trip home continues

Our trip today started off to a slow.  start as we slept in due to brett and I being exhausted. Our travel today has gone well. Kids have all slept on and off. They have watched movies and played with their stuff. Right now we are nearing Chattanooga, Tennessee. We are going to continue traveling until we are too tired to drive. We just stopped at a rest stop for a potty break plus got kids in jammies and did Miranda and Jonah's medications for the night in hopes we can drive for a long time yet. We have had a awesome trip and very few melt Downs or fights from the kids which has been awesome. Kids never begged for anything and were just soaking it all in and so happy to be there. We definitely made several memories that we will talk about for years to come. The kids were in awe and so thankful to be there that we loved watching everything through their eyes. The driving hasn't been bad and has been very enjoyable. We have seen lots of beautiful country and have just as many memories from our travels as from our stay in Orlando. We shall see how far we make it tonight.

Our first day of traveling home

We slept in a little bit as we were exhausted. Brett and I got up and started packing as we let the kids sleep as long as possible. Once we were loaded we headed to Downtown Disney for a few last items and pictures and then hit the road. Jonah was asleep before we even made it out of downtown Disney and expect he will sleep a big portion of today. Girls are quietly playing in back of van but will dose off soon I am sure. Noah is listening to his music and working in his travel journal. Will post more later as our day progresses.
